The Becoming Van Gogh exhibition opens Sunday at the Denver Art Museum . The show brings together loans from more than 60 museums, galleries and private collections through Europe and North America.

Light rain and snow fell on the Fern Lake Fire yesterday aiding the firefighters’ efforts. The fire has grown to 673 acres and is 5 percent contained. The extended weather forecast is for a warming and drying trend which could increase fire activity.
