Colorado Democrats on the Attack Ahead of GOP Caucus

As Colorado Republicans prepare to caucus this evening, the state Democratic party is narrowing its attacks on presumed front-runner Mitt Romney.

The party’s chairman Rick Palacio said Romney has drifted further to the right on issues such as immigration since he won Colorado’s last caucuses in 2008.

"Coloradans, like voters around this country, are learning that when it comes to Mitt Romney, the more you learn, the less you like," Palacio said at a press conference alongside Denver Mayor Michael Hancock.

Democrats say they are targeting the favorite Mitt Romney, because even most people in his OWN party are treating him as if he’s headed toward the Republican nomination.
