Governor Signs Recreational Marijuana into Colorado Law: Read it Here

Governor John Hickenlooper has formally signed off on Amendment 64, making it legal for Coloradans over 21 to possess small amounts of marijuana without a doctor’s recommendation.

The action Monday formalizes Amendment 64 as part of the state Constitution.

Hickenlooper also has authorized the creation of a task force to consider policy issues to help lawmakers craft regulations. You can read the official proclamation below:
