Tish Hinojosa has an 8:00 show tonight at Denver’s Swallow Hill Music Hall in Daniels Hall, and also at 8:00 tonight, Darden Smith has an 8:00 show in the tufts Theatre. Tomorrow night at Swallow Hill, Chris Daniels & Friends Album Release Better Days, a new solo project that includes a line up of guest musicians from Swallow Hill Music favorites to acoustic and bluegrass legends. This is Daniels's first solo project in 30 years. 8pm In the Tuft Theatre, Justin Roth w/ special guest John McVey have an 8:00 show.
Sunday (7/8) , the Colorado Music Festival brings the genius of Mozart to Boulder’s Chautauqua Auditorium—performing The Marriage of Figaro and Mozart’s magnificent Requiem in Dm.
The Colorado comedy community, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, is proud to announce Fight Fire With Laughter, a fundraising effort to aid in disaster relief efforts across the state. From now until July 27th, many comedy shows in Colorado will be accepting monetary donations, 100% of which will be forwarded to the Colorado chapters of the American Red Cross.

The 15th Annual Blues & BBQ for Better Housing Block Party Noon -12-8 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2012, in Olde Town Arvada. -18 rock and blues bands on three stages. -70 booths with food, beer and a variety of fun vendors. -Proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver.
Next Saturday (7/14), it’s the 4th annual Allenspark Run Like the Wind 5K & 10K Fun Run/Walk. The official race starts in the heart of Allenspark at 9:00 am - with a short (1/3 mile) 'Geezers' VS 'Kids' fun run starting at 8:30. This scenic, high altitude race is run on dirt roads, amid the pine forest and boasts views of high mountain peaks. Nice!
