Great music, art, theater, Wine, food, festivals, and celebrations along Colorado’s Front Range and in the mountains this weekend.

The Steamboat Wine Festival is a premier destination event where master winemakers, culinary greats, and distinguished guests gather to play, wine, and dine in beautiful Steamboat Springs all weekend long (8/3-5). Delight in  more than 100 food artisans, wineries, breweries, and more at this ultimate food and wine experience.

It is First Friday, and galleries in many towns along the Front Range and mountains open their doors to share their beauty.

Friday Fest tonight on the plaza in Historic Downtown Greeley featuring the funky, jazzy rock of Foxfield Four

The Louisville Downtown Street Faire is a mix of friends, family, community and great live music --  tonight with Tab Benoit.

The Fifth Annual Carbon Valley Music Festival begins at noon tomorrow at Centennial field at Dacono with the Lionel Young Band, Three Twins Broadband, Quemondo and and more  Enjoy the parade at 11am and Fireworks at 10pm. 

16th Annual Bluegrass and Beer Festival at River run at Keystone starts tomorrow (8/4 ) at noon and runs through Sunday featuring live music on 3 stages including Oakhurst, the farewell Drifters , Darryl Scott, Tim O’Brien, the Haunted Windchimes and more, as well as 30 microbreweries from Colorado and beyond showcase their unique blends of hops and barleys.

Acclaimed Delta bluesman Johnny Long will turn Ft. Collin’s Bas Bleu Theatre into a blues joint tomorrow and Sunday (8/4&5) 7:30pm. 

Two great bands, The Constant Tourists and Words in Flight bring Zydeco/Gypsy music and intelligent indie/Folk to Nissis in Lafayette tomorrow night at 8:00

Sunday, enjoy string bands and bluegrass music at Golden’s 9th Annual Mountain Melodies Music Festival, highlighting established and new musical talent from Colorado’s Front Range communities this Sunday (8/5) from Noon to 5:00 p.m.

High Plains Chautauqua 2012- Courage & Conviction in America begins this coming Tuesday (8/7), and runs till the 11th  at Aims Community College in Greeley.

Sunday, Diana Krall has an 8:00 show at the Vilar Performing Arts Center at Beaver Creek.

Blues woman Rory Block has an 8:0 show tomorrow night (8/4) at Denver’s Swallow Hill and Sunday (8/5) at 8: hear kd Lang and the Siss boom Bang at the Ft. Collins Lincoln Center.

Bold Doors 2012 closes this weekend at Boulder’s Pearl street Mall, 29th Street, Ideal Market and more till August 2nd 303-402-0613.

Next weekend it’s Bohemian Nights at New West Fest in Ft. Collins – 90+ Colorado bands in a variety of genres on 6 stages over three days- headlined by Alison Krauss & Union Station, Gipsy Kings, and Michael Franti & Spearhead  (8/ 10&12)

Niwot’s  Rock n’ Rails   FREE Summer Concert Series, Thursday evenings at the Whistle Stop Park (corner of 1st and Murray) Park opens at 5:30 pm with food vendors, artisans, kid's activities, as well as a beer/wine/margarita garden, and music with Bob Skizzum.

Next Saturday Olde Town Arvada hosts Second Saturdays events on Grandview Avenue.  Family oriented community events that showcase music, vendors and kids activities.
