Music, great ballet and theatre and more along Colorado's Front Range this weekend.

Kathryn Mostow will release her new CD, Rich Girl, with a full band show at Denver's Walnut Room tonight  Come find out why Scene Magazine just voted Rich Girl as one of the best local CDs of 2011!

The Colorado Ballet brings the dazzling adventure and flight of Peter Pan to the Ellie Caukins Opera House, opening next Friday night (2/24) and running weekends till March 4th in evening and matinee performances.

Boulder Symphony presents The Playground Ensemble, Artists-in-Residence at DU’s Lamont School of Music and exciting new music chamber ensemble tonight at First Presbyterian Church  at 7pm . 

Iris DeMent w/ Stephanie Bettman & Luke Halpin  have an 8:00 show at Denver’s Swallow Hill Music Hall tonight.

Puppet theatre Productions presents The Odyssey by Homer tomorrow afternoon at 2pm at the Boulder Public Lbrary includes techniques developed in ancient Greek theatre - use of masks and chorus - as well as actors, puppets, shadows and video sequences with live music and sound. 303-441-3196

Matt Flinner Trio and Grant Gordy Quartet bring their tasty mix of Bluegrass, Jazz and Celtic flavors to Swallow Hill in Denver tomorrow night (2/25) at 8:00pm

Ft. Collins Openstage Theatre continues its production of  William Shakespeare’s Othello in Friday and Saturday performances at 8:00 and Sunday matinees at 2pm till March 18th

and Colorado, now Nashville, singer/songwriter Katie Herzig has an 8:30 show at Boulder’s Fox theatre on Wednesday (2/29)
