Legislative Session Half Over, Budget Work Now a Top Priority

Lawmakers are midway through the state’s legislative session and depending on who you ask, it’s either been a bi-partisan session, or partisan.

Regardless of the viewpoint both sides say it will take focus and compromise to fill a 1 billion dollar shortfall and balance the budget over the next 60 days. KUNC’s state capitol reporter Bente Birkeland has more.
