The highly sought after civil unions license will be available for same-sex couples in Colorado beginning Wednesday. Some local clerk and recorders officeare opening as early as midnight.
Here's a sneak peak at the state document that will grant civil unions and many other rights to same-sex couples.
Compared to the marriage license below, you may notice many similarities. In fact, the only differences we can find are that the words civil union appear instead of marriage and party one/party two signatures are required instead of the groom/bride signatures.
