University of Denver: Newman Center for the Performing Arts

We remember those who made the supreme sacrifice, no longer with us but never forgotten, and celebrate the enduring spirit of America. Guest conductor, Lowell Graham, resident conductor of Klavier Music Productions and former conductor of The US Air Force Band of Washington DC, draws passion and reverence from the greatest American sounds. Join us as we honor the heroes, past and present, responsible for making our community, nation and world a better place. Sunday, May 26 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Folsom Field on the University of Colorado campus, the 10K race kicks off at 6:55 a.m. and the Memorial Day tribute at Folsom Field starts at 11:40 a.m. May 25-27, 2013

49th Annual Memorial Day Parade

In Commerce City, this is billed as the largest parade in the state. This year's theme is "Remembering Those Who Made the Ultimate Sacrifice." Monday, May 27

Metro-area government offices will be closed Monday. There is no mail delivery, and parking at meters in the city of Denver will be free.
