This home across from Picnic Rock along Highway 14 was completely leveled by the fire.

Patches of black and even grey earth appear along Highway 14. A few blades of grass survived the Hgih Park Fire.

This pit toilet, at a pull off along Highway 14, was completely leveled by the fire. Nearby green grass is still growing inbetween the panes of cement around the outhouse.
The High Park Fire has consumed an estimated at 68,200 acres as of Wednesday evening. Following our previous picture collection from Buckhorn Mtn., Grace Hood went inside the High Park Fire this afternoon with the media tour and brought back these pictures.
