That's what was powering the nation's newest superhero — Snackman — when he so famously and so casually broke up a fight on a New York City subway train, Manhattan's DNAinfo.com reports.
We're learning that the superdude who has become a national topic of conversation thanks to a video that captured his crunchingly cool demeanor, is 24-year-old Charles Sonder, a guy from Rhode Island who has lived in New York City for about two years.
He tells New York's CBS 2 that "I thought that if I got in between [the combatants] they would just stop hitting each other. ... It's cool to be thought of as maybe some kind of superhero, but I just didn't want to see anyone get hurt."
"I'd like to be known for other things," he told DNAinfo, "but it's pretty funny."
