Spiderman Scales World's Tallest Building
Transcript
RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne.
Tourists flock to Dubai just to see the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest structure. Alain Robert went to climb it. The Frenchman, known as Spiderman, has scaled more than 70 skyscrapers, including the Empire State Building, mostly without permission or a rope and harness. With this building he opted for safety. On Monday, with ambulances waiting below, Mr. Robert used a rope to climb the 100-story building. It took six hours.
