Suspect In Colorado Pipe Bomb Incident Arrested

The man wanted in connection to the discovery of a pipe bomb and two propane tanks at a Colorado shopping mall last week has been arrested in Boulder, The Denver Postreports.

It quotes law enforcement sources as saying that Earl Albert Moore, 65, was taken into custody at a supermarket.

As we reported last week, the explosive device was discovered last Wednesday, on the 12th anniversary of the deadly shooting rampage at nearby Columbine High School. Authorities called last week's incident a case of "domestic terrorism," although there have been doubts raised since about whether it had anything to do with the Columbine anniversary.

According to the Post, Moore has a criminal record that includes a 2005 bank robbery and "multiple larceny convictions, a drug offense and reckless driving."

Denver's KUSA-TV says Moore was arrested after police received a tip from a 911 caller who spotted him at the store.
