Tough Luck: 7 Co-Workers Share $319M Jackpot; 8th Reportedly Opted Out

We're supposed to hear tomorrow just who the seven New York State employees are who won last week's $319 million lottery.

But today, there's this heart-breaking story in the New York Post:

"A hapless state information-technology worker who usually joined his office lottery pool took a pass last week — only to learn that seven positive-thinking pals nailed a whopping $319 million Mega Millions jackpot, said a deli owner who knows the winners."

The jackpot was the 5th-largest in Mega Millions history.
