Update: 'Suspicious Package' At U.S. Embassy To The Vatican Was False Alarm

Update at 9:42 a.m. ET:After investigating, "police say a suspicious package reported by the U.S. Embassy to the Vatican was a false alarm," the Associated Press now reports.

Earlier today, two small bombs exploded in front of the northern Italian headquarters of a right-wing party. And there has been a series of package bombs discovered at embassies in Rome over the past week. Anarchists have been claiming responsibility.
