VIDEO: Drug Smugglers 'Get Medieval'; Catapult Launches Pot Over Border

As The Tucson Sentinel says, some drug smugglers along the U.S.-Mexico border are going "old-school."

Last week a surveillance camera caught them using "a trebuchet, a type of catapult powered by a counterweight" to throw marijuana over the border fence south of Bisbee, Ariz. Here's the video:

The launchings were caught on camera by U.S. National Guard troops. The Sentinel reports that "Border Patrol agents contacted Mexican authorities, who disrupted the attempt. Seized were approximately 45 pounds of marijuana, an SUV, and the 3-yard tall catapult on a flatbed trailer."
