This Week's Podcast: The State Of The Nation. And Obama, Bachmann And Rahm.

Republicans and Democrats, cats and dogs, Montagues and Capulets, Yankees and Red Sox, they all sat together watching President Obama deliver his State of the Union address on Tuesday night. The verdict? Kinda subdued, I thought.

No big announcements. Not much red meat, if any. Paul Ryan's response was similarly lacking in bombast. Some thought the real story was Michele Bachmann, and the decision by CNN to broadcast her Tea Party rebuttal.

All of that is part of the discussion in this week's episode of our " It's All Politics" podcast.

Plus: Rahm Emanuel's battle to get on the Chicago ballot ... New Hampshire elects a new Republican chair ... and George Allen is back for a rematch in Virginia.

And you can hear it all here:

Credits (as it were) —

Apologies: Computer problems prevented the podcast from going up on its usual Thursday.
