Each August – just prior to the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival in Lyons – there is a quiet, but exhilarating week when aspiring singer-songwriters, poets, lay people, and others gather to study with some of the best and brightest in acoustic music to further the art of the song.

It has taken 30 years for Chris Daniels to release his first solo record and the wait is worth it. He played live at Denver record institution Twist & Shout on August 7th.
