Legendary Bluesman Pinetop Perkins Dies At 97

Piano player Pinetop Perkins died at his home in Austin, Texas, Monday. He was 97. Perkins was one of the last of the original Mississippi blues men. Perkins played piano with an aggressive style and sang with a distinctive gravelly voice.

Detailed study of radioactive materials from around Japan's troubled nuclear plant will allow engineers to understand what went wrong inside the reactors. Most of the material released so far decays quickly. That means if the situation is stabilized, radiation levels should drop dramatically over the next two months.

The physics-based game is wildly addictive. You could waste a good deal of time catapulting those angry birds through the air, trying to get the arc just right so you smash the pigs' castle.

By the way, the birds are angry because the pigs have stolen their eggs, in case that's not immediately apparent.
