Forget the calendar. With The Avengers, Battleship, and Men In Black already battling aliens at the multiplex, Hollywood's summer has arguably been under way for weeks.

The actor Christian Bale says he was "roughed up" by Chinese authorities when he tried to visit human rights lawyer Chen Guangcheng.

The incident was caught on camera by a CNN crew that was accompanying him on the trip. Here's the video:

A British defense contractor has a new concept for a fast-moving armored vehicle. Batman fans might say it looks very familiar. A project leader at BAE Systems happily admitted that the armored vehicle is inspired by the Batmobile in the movie Dark Knight.
