Rivers flowing 10 times higher than normal forced new evacuations in Jefferson, Larimer and Weld counties Friday as emergency managers continued to try to reach people who have been stranded by floodwaters for days.
Thursday brought flooding that while not unprecedented, was highly widespread across the Front Range. What started with some playful behavior in Boulder, quickly escalated to evacuations, property loss and by the end of Thursday three lives lost.
