State health officials are concerned about a growing pertussis epidemic in Colorado. To date, 1,026 cases of pertussis (commonly referred to as whooping cough) have been confirmed statewide.

You may have noticed the smoky skies. Fires burning in the Pacific Northwest have blanketed the Front Range in a smoky haze, keeping some Coloradans inside.

That's certainly a mouthful. I’m also insanely curious, because the Denver Post is reporting that one was stolen last week.
