Editor's Note: The High Park Fire started on Saturday, June 9th. Winds and high temperatures helped the fire rapidly spread. A wildfire burning west of Fort Collins has now scorched more than 20,000 acres and damaged or destroyed at least 18 structures over the weekend. Hundreds of people and animals have been evacuated as the fire continues burns out of control.
KUNC Personnel had obtained permission to visit our transmitter facility on Buckhorn Mtn. today. They weren't able to make it up to the site, but they did bring back some pictures.
