The High Park Fire is still burning west of Fort Collins and is currently 50% contained. A new pre-evacuation notice was sent for the Rustic area including Glen Echo this morning.
A red flag warning day and the forecast have brought new concerns for the High Park Fire. Due to these factors, fire officials have asked that residents in the area remain prepared.
The High Park Fire was reported at about 5:54am on Saturday, June 9th. The Larimer County Sheriff's office has confirmed that 181 homes have been destroyed since the fire first started.
