Plans to build a regional crime lab in northern Colorado are becoming more concrete. Weld County, Larimer County, Loveland and Greeley have signed on to contribute staff to the crime lab and money for operational costs. Fort Collins will decide whether to sign on to the project at the city’s meeting next month.

The Hewlett Fire spanning more than 7,600 acres northwest of Fort Collins has reached the western edge of Greeley’s Milton Seaman Reservoir. The City of Greeley is not currently pulling water from the reservoir.

After two years without an owner – the Greeley Mall has finally been sold during an on-line auction. But the final price is far less than the mall’s one time value.
