Even with concerns over water quality and drill rigs popping up close to homes, oil and gas companies are continuing to invest heavily in the Northern Colorado area.

There’s only a week left until Thanksgiving and the Weld Food Bank is in critical need of turkeys to meet holiday orders. The food bank shares donated turkeys with more than 102 partners, including food pantries and organizations offering thanksgiving dinners.

It’s hard to believe, but it’s time to put away the political yard signs and break out the tinsel. After seven days in Colorado, the official Capitol Christmas Tree leaves the state for a cross-country journey tomorrow on its way to Washington.
