A Larimer County resident attempting to make an electrical connection for an electric fence generated a spark that resulted in the 1,348-acre Galena Fire.

According to a written release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office containment of the fire remains at 45 percent. A second type two helicopter is expected Sunday.
