Colorado Senator Mark Udall is introducing a bill that would prohibit the use of public money to pay for political party conventions. The bill addresses the use of Presidential Election Campaign Funds (PECF) - which have few federal restrictions on how that money is used.

Colorado to Benefit from Export-Import Bank Reauthorization

President Obama has signed bipartisan legislation that allows the bank to continue financing U.S. exports through 2014. Mr. Obama said the move will help thousands of businesses sell their products and services oversees and create jobs at home.

U.S. Senate Passes Postal Service Reform Bill 62 to 39

The U.S. Senate passed a bill today aimed at saving the U.S. Postal Service. The legislation would make it harder to eliminate Saturday mail delivery and close thousands of low-revenue post offices already targeted by the USPS.
