Colorado Senator Mark Udall took to the US Senate floor Tuesday morning in an attempt to find better ways volunteers can legally help clean up abandoned hard rock mines in the west. Polluted water flows out of these mines and that can contaminate entire watersheds.
Eight members of Colorado’s Congressional delegation are calling on Congress to save a federal tax credit for the wind industry. The bipartisan group delivered a letter ahead of a committee meeting on Tuesday.

The non partisan think tank No Labels says over 100 members of Congress will cross party lines and sit with a member from the opposite party for Tuesday’s State of the Union speech. But one Colorado Congressmen won’t even be there.
