But it's almost impossible to apply for anything these days without going online, and that's where Trotter hits a snag. The 25-year-old is only able to apply for jobs when her boyfriend, Greg Perine, and his cell phone are home.

Job Market Picking Up for Colorado Graduates

This week we visited a job fair in Larimer County where a number of frustrated job seekers were still struggling to find work, even as the economy appears to be headed toward recovery. Today, we check in with prospective job seekers about to enter the market for the first time. KUNC's Kirk Siegler visits a job fair at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where things appear to be looking up.

State of the Union to Stress Jobs while Unemployed Struggle

The Northern Colorado Networking Group's job fair attracted more than 300 people--100 more than organizers expected.

Finding The Path Towards Employment In St. Louis

First of an ongoing series

Until March, Casaundra Bronner, 39, worked for one of the largest and certainly the most famous employers in St. Louis — Anheuser-Busch.

Bronner had been there for 11 years, working her way up to a marketing manager job.

"My last position, I really enjoyed it," says Bronner. "[The layoff was] like a rug taken from under me."

She was among hundreds the company laid off.
