President Obama to Talk Student Loans on Boulder Campus

President Obama will speak at the University of Colorado in Boulder tonight; part of a three-state swing that also includes stops later this morning at the University of North Carolina and tomorrow at the University of Iowa.

CU Crackdown Slows, But Doesn't Snuff Out 420

Protesters eventually congregated near the Duane Physics building on the Campus of CU this year for 420. The University launched a major crackdown on the event, which normally occupies Norlin Quad.

"When civil rights are under attack, what do we do? Stand up, fight back!" That was the cheer shouted by hundreds of protesters this afternoon at the University of Colorado Boulder and the annual 420 event.

In a departure from past events, CU has cracked down heavily on the annual 420 smoke-out held on campus. Following gathering protests surrounding the campus, a few protestors did make it onto CU grounds and assembled for the traditional smoking appointment.
