The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has come a long way in administering government scholarship money for veterans. That was one of the conclusions from a roundtable held by Democratic Senator Michael Bennet today on the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins.

Wounded soldiers come home from Iraq and Afghanistan only to face a new battle – the battle to fit back into civilian life again. Many have crippling wounds you can't see. Programs aimed at helping these veterans are popping up around the country. In Colorado Springs, hundreds of Fort Carson soldiers are taking part in an intense physical training program offered by a group called LifeQuestTransitions.
